RIVER
Our Sunday river sessions at Chiswick Pier run from 11:00am to 1:00pm. This year our regular Sunday sessions started on 6th January 2008 and will run throughout the year. We advise that you arrive for 10:30am so that we can process your paperwork, assign you equipment so you are ready for the 11:00am start.
The sessions are open for members, instructor led and oriented towards enjoying the river and improving skills and fitness.
The club has all necessary equipment, so all you need to bring are
clothes to get wet in and dry clothes to put on afterwards. There are
toilets and hot showers available in Chiswick Pier House.
In the winter, you will need to bring warm clothes - fleece or other thermals Neoprene paddle gloves or mitts are strongly advised - and spare clothes in case of capsize.
In the Summer Light clothes,eg shorts and t shirt should be fine.
Shoes must be worn for both Winter and Summer Paddle sessions.
The club has dry cags which you can borrow.

POOL
Every Saturday between 4:30 and 6:30pm, we run a pool session at Acton Baths. Members and non members are welcome. All abilities are catered for and people normally work in small groups learning new skills and perfecting everything from beginning to more advanced techniques. The pool sessions are highly recommended, and act as a great starting point for beginners, training them before they join us on the regular Sunday sessions on the river.
Price: £4.50/£2.50 for members £5.30/£3.20 for non-members.
When you come along to pool sessions, please remember that all the
coaches and helpers involved are volunteers. It is your responsibility
to help take equipment out and particularly to put equipment away. If
you leave early, please put away the equipment you have used or at least
ask one of the coaches/helpers if anything needs putting away.

HURLEY WEIR
Whenever this is running through the winter there will be a group of us
out there on Sat and / or Sunday - and sometimes midweek. Hurley at
its best is a World Class wave feature. It's also a good place to
practice ferry gliding, rolling and other whitewater skills in a safe
environment. If you are a 3 star level paddler and interested in joining us for fun on the weir contact Paul on 07973 414 537
These are not official club sessions with full level 3 coach cover - so
paddlers need to be competent with a reliable roll - at least on
flatwater.
